Title: IT Manager/Support Specialist
Description:
Responsible for the daily oversight, maintenance and troubleshooting for the internal IT structure.
The company is a mid-sized 3^rd party logistics provider with offices in North Bergen, NJ. The positions responsibilities include:
- Maintenance and support of the internal network, servers and interfaces with customer systems
- Support to operations staff for RF equipment interfaces and scan station equipment
- User support
- Interface with external solutions providers to manage trouble tickets, operational issues and product upgrades/migrations

Requirements:
The position requires a highly motivated individual who understands the demands and performance requirements of the logistics industry.  Prior experience within the 3PL or commercial warehousing industries is strongly desired. Technical proficiency with NT, Windows operating systems, MS Office Suite, Antivirus software and Terminal Services applications and infrastructure are also essential.

The company is enjoying rapid growth and is pursuing an expansion strategy that includes potential acquisitions elsewhere in the US.  The position reports to the current VP of Distribution and Logistics who is also the IT Director who has recently assumed additional operational responsibilities within the company, thereby creating immediate growth potential for the right individual.
